Redmond, Sunriver, and Three Rivers South (the area just south of Sunriver)

 

These are the main Bend area real estate markets I serve outside of Bend, and have become more popular as Bend real estate has become more expensive.  All of them have risen dramatically in price as well, yet not as much as Bend.  I do also serve Sisters, but rarely have a sale there, so have not included it- email me if you’d like me to!

REDMOND

Redmond, unlike the other two, is mature and large enough to use similar criteria to that which I use for Bend real estate statistics:

3 bed, 2 bath minimum

1400 square feet minimum

residential, resale, single family homes

SUNRIVER

Sunriver is a much smaller Bend area real estate market than Bend or Redmond, and is its own animal, being primarily, but not exclusively, vacation homes.  As such, I am using different criteria to reflect the type of homes that sell there.  Keep in mind, this Bend area real estate market is so small that the statistics tend to vary widely month to month:

2 bedroom, 1.5 bath minimum

single family, condos, townhomes

no minimum size

THREE RIVERS SOUTH

Many people mistakenly call the Bend area real estate market that lies just outside the gates of Sunriver the same name.  It is generally referred to as Three Rivers South, and is a much different Bend area real estate market.  Though there are many vacation homes here, there are just as many if not more primary homes.  Three Rivers South Homes are larger as the lots are larger, but tend to be less expensive.  I continue to believe they are one of the last remaining true bargains in Bend area real estate, though you have to like snow!  Again, it’s very small, so real estate statistics tend to vary month to month.
